2010 Mont 24 Hour MTB Race Training Program

Want to learn how to ride 'The Bird' before the Mont 24hr 2009?

Commencing Wednesday 3 March 2010, Cycle Education will run four night information and skills sessions to introduce you to the fun factor of 24hr team mountain bike racing.

The sessions are designed to inform and help encourage people to the sport of 24hr mountain bike racing or prepare teams for the basic requirements to manage teams.

The Skills Sessions may include but not be limited to: negotiating obstacles, endurance, cadence, pedalling technique, heart rate, techniques, balance, picking a line, climbing, descending and riding single track. Also we’ll bring back the popular race simulation which includes several ‘race leaders’ or the usual breaking down once your passed.

Some of Australia’s 24hr most colorful racing characters will be on hand to assist, advise and give plenty of opinion on all the where, what and how’s. Gee, you could even categorise a few as 24hr gurus…. don’t tell them I said that.

1st Session: Wednesday 3rd March
