AROC Sport Adventure

Special Mountain Bike Skills Session, Canberra

Love your AROC events but struggle a little on the mountain bike?  Then please please take advantage of this fantastic offer. Cycle Education will run a mountain bike skills session showing you tips and techniques to ride efficiently and have fun. Specially run for the next Paddy Pallin Adventure Race in Canberra.  At $10pp this is super value.

Learn to keep the rubber side down with this fun and relaxed mtb session .  A few of our instructors will be on hand to offer advice and tips and show you a few techniques around the lower tracks of Mt Stromlo.

Cycle Education's June Xmas Trivia Ride - Sunday 27th June 2010.

A little late or little early it just seemed easier to move to this time of year.

  • Location: Commonwealth Park, near kids stone castle, Nerrang Pool
  • Rego:  9:00 – 9:30,
  • Trivia Ride: 9:30 – 12:30,
  • BBQ & Presentations: 1:00
  • Cost: $20 inc. maps & BBQ lunch

 

What better way to spend a weekend than to do this fun little event with some silly likeminded people. You don’t have to be a serious cyclist or even competitive… Have some fun, join in and read the clues and see how many correct answers to the 25 questions at 25 locations you can get. How many locations you can go to in the allotted time? There will be point deductions for those getting back late.   

Do it solo, do it paired, dust off your commuter, recumbent, unicycle, road, mountain bike, tricycle – wipe down the ol’ banana seat… hop on and go for a ride and test your knowledge.
