Kids Road & Bike Safety Holiday Programme

 

SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

ONE WEEK ONLY

Campbell Primary School, Campbell  

(off Chauvel St, behind the Campbell Shops)
 

 

 Ages: 6 - 12yrs. Or designed for children who can ride.

Morning Sessions 9am to 12.30pm                              Cost:   $37.00
A 3.5 hour tuition designed to teach your child better riding techniques to be a safer and more confident cyclist. If your child enjoys riding their bike or requires some confidence in riding this course will enhance skills and educate the hazards cyclist face and how to deal with them. (must be collected at 12.30pm)

Afternoon  tour option 12.30pm to 3.00pm             Added cost: $20.00
NEW: Optional Tour ride after the morning tuition program and
lunch their is a guided tour ride around parts of Lake Burley Griffin
bike trails. (*children must be able to ride full distance, approx 9kms.)

Please note: Children not doing tour ride MUST be collected at 12:30pm.

Wet Weather outline:  The scheduled day will go ahead with light rain as the venue has an undercover courtyard.  If required there are wet weather learning games available.  When appropriate and deemed safe the riding skills and outdoor instruction will continue. 

 

In the event of heavy rain or the riding conditions are deemed unsafe the organiser will endeavour to contact all parents / carers as soon as possible in the morning of the scheduled event (before 8:15am) to notify of a postponement.  Should this result the options will be to 1) transfer to another day if available, 2) to transfer to another school term holiday programme or 3) refund payment minus 5% for administration and bank fees.

Hi Raynie,
