Our Coaches

All our cycling instructors are accredited through the following organisations:
  • Mountain Bike Australia coaching accredited

  • Sports Medicine First Aiders 
  • Working with Vulnerable People checks.  
Each instructor has hundreds of hours riding in the saddle.  We take pride in our ability to  clearly explain how to ride various terrain and obstacles in a fun and enjoyable class experience.   

Raynie McNee

Raynie has been a passionate cyclist and coordinator of cycling programs and mountain bike events in the Canberra region since 2002.   Starting Cycle Education in 2007, initially to fill a community gap in developing and delivering a bike education program for primary schools in the ACT, this has evolved to delivering cycling programs for for the ACT Healthy Directorate (2014 Finalist for Outstanding Achievement in Partnerships to Improve Health Outcomes - Cycling for Healthy Communities) as well as numerous workplace workshops for both government and private companies. Today, Raynie's focus is developing mountain bike courses and helping encourage women into cycling. 

As a professional Event Manager Raynie has worked on numerous large scale cycling events for various groups and organisations across Canberra including;  Mont 24hr (11yrs), Capital Punishment, National Capital Tour, Big Canberra Bike Ride, Window's to the World to name a few.  Since 2012 Raynie has established and organised the women and girls Dirt de Femme, now in it's 9th event.  In 2017 Raynie was nominated for the CBR Sports Awards for - Outstanding Contribution.

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Alysha McNee

Alysha has been an active and pasionate member of the Canberra cycling community since she was a little girl.  Volunteering at many cycling events and now seasoned cycling coach for Cycle Education.  Alysha's cycling has included competing at various mountain bike events including; cross country and mountain bike orienteering, road racing and dabbling in BMX riding.  Her  focus of recent years is gravity riding and competing.  Alysha has been succesful in racing the Thredbo Cannonball and achieveing podium success at a number of events. 

Alysha enjoys traveling with her bike and spent time riding the trails of Whistler MTB Park and various Australian MTB Trails.
