Women's Cycle Skills Weekend

Cycle Education is excited to run a Women's Cycle Skills weekend, a social and supportive cycling experience.
The weekend will enhance your cycling skills to be a safer and confident rider leading into Spring and Summer. Or use the weekend to increase your cycling knowledge, skills and cycling safety.
FULL COST: $290.00.00 (payable in two payments)
Dates: Saturday 23 Feb
Sunday 24 Feb
Time: Start 9:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Stromlo Forest Park
Max: 22 participants or 1:6 coach ratio

DESIGNED FOR Riders who want to improve their confidence and skills riding thier bikes.
If you have experience riding bikes, still feeling nervous or lack the confidence to ‘have a go’ this weekend can help develop your bicycle handling skills, your knowledge and increase your confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
Perfect for those wanting to explore road riding or community social rides. Fully supporting Pedal Powers Big Canberra Bike Ride. This weekend will use the BIg Canberra Bike Ride as a training focus for their event distances of 35km or the 65km.
All participants must have a recently serviced bicycle (no mechanical support onsite), we highly recommend gears for the hill climbing and wear an an Australian Safety Standard approved cycling helmet and bring your sense of adventure and humour.

INSURANCE and HEALTH - ALL course participants must be a current financial member of Pedal Power ACT or equivalent.
